OMB Bulletin No. 00-02 – Guidance on Aggregation and Allocation of Data on Race for Use in Civil Rights Monitoring and Enforcement (https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/bulletins_b00-02.pdf ) provides Aggregation Guidance for using multiple responses regarding racial identity (such as from the 2020 Census), when entities report required racial data to the federal government.
The following table lists the OMB fields that Caliper provides along with the formulae for computing them from the standard PL 94-171 fields. That OMB Bulletin does not mention the Other Race category, but Caliper includes it since it is another individual racial category. In addition to the six individual racial categories, the four most common biracial combinations nationwide are included.

Notice that each of the first two groups of fields should sum to Population and each of the last two groups should sum to 18+_Pop.
The OMB guidance requires additional multiracial combinations that represents at least 1% of the population of the redistricting region (state, county, or city/town) to be broken out separately. For example, WhtHwn, AsnHwn and WhtAsnHwn would also be included when redistricting statewide in Hawaii for 2010.
That section of the OMB guidance does not address adjustments required when a complaint alleges discrimination against a specific race (RRR: Blk, Ind, Asn or Hwn). In such cases, Maptitude for Redistricting’s Any Part field (AP_RRR, NH_AP_RRR or 18+_AP_RRR, NH18+_AP_RRR) should be used instead.
