How do I merge subplans?

You can merge sub plans for different geographic areas into an open planPlanA set of boundaries for all districts of a representational body, a.k.a. map.. You may have a planPlanA set of boundaries for all districts of a representational body, a.k.a. map. that contains district assignments for the eastern part of a state, and an open planPlanA set of boundaries for all districts of a representational body, a.k.a. map. that contains district assignments for the western part of the same state. 1. Open a plan with features for part of the region.
2. Choose Redistricting>Plan Utilities>Merge Plans.
3. Choose the library that contains the plan to be merged and choose the districts to merge. **Note: the plan you choose must be based on the same hierarchy as the current plan.
4. Click OK.
