Maptitude GISDK Help |
You can display up to four special windows:
These windows can float or be docked. When floating, they have a title bar, with the name of the window, and a close box at the right side of the title bar. When docked, they have two lines where the window name would be, and an X for closing the window.
You can close these special windows by clicking the close box or the X on the title bar, or by choosing the window from the View menu. You can open a closed window by choosing it from the View menu. Windows with checks before their name in the View menu are open.
The windows can be docked along the top, bottom, or either side of the program window by dragging the title bar into a docking area. If you drag a docked window out of a docking area, it will float.
If two or more windows are docked on the same side, you can drag where two touch to shrink one and enlarge the other. You can shrink or enlarge all docked windows on a side by dragging the edge closest to the middle of the program window.
When you close and reopen the GISDK Debugger, the windows will be where you last left them.
The source code windows are displayed in the area remaining between the docking areas. They have a gray background to distinguish them and to indicate that they are read only. You can copy text from a source code window, which is very useful when setting up the watch list.
If you maximize a source code window, it expands to the area remaining between the docking areas. Floating special windows appear on top of source code windows. If all of the special windows are floating or closed, there are no docking areas.
