Maptitude GISDK Help |
If Maptitude encounters an error when running GISDK code, you can choose to view the error in the GISDK Debugger. If you click Yes, Maptitude opens the GISDK Debugger and asks you to browse for the resource (*.rsc) file that contains the code in question.
The execution of the code is backed up to the point immediately before the error happened and the GISDK Debugger shows this line. You can view the values of variables at this time and, in some cases, you may be able to correct some values and continue, or skip a statement and continue. If you choose to continue to run without changing anything, the same error should occur again.
If you get the error message and choose not to view it in the GISDK Debugger, Maptitude terminates the macro that is being executed, and any macros that called that macro.
If the UI database where the error occurred is read-only, Maptitude will just display the error message and will not offer to launch the GISDK Debugger.
