Run-Time Requirements for COM

In order for this client-server environment to function correctly, certain requirements must be met:

1. The type library file (Mapt. tlb) installed with the GISDK must be stored in the program folder of the server application. The objects, and their methods and properties, are fully specified in this type library file, which can be read by the type library browsers supplied with Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.

2. Certain registry entries must exist that identify the location of the server and the type library. These registry entries are set up automatically when Maptitude is installed.
