The new Highway Exits and Interchanges layer is a nationwide (USA or Canada) reference for all signed and numbered highway exits. Use this layer to evaluate sites for their accessibility to major highways and interchanges.
The updated USA Traffic Count layer contains annual average daily traffic (AADT) which is the total annual volume of vehicle traffic on a highway or road segment for a year divided by 365 days. In addition, the layer now includes AADT for semi-trailer trucks and single-unit trucks, number of through lanes, and road classification data.
The Highway Exit and AADT layers can be added to any Maptitude 2018 map. |

When you have added the Annual Average Daily Traffic (AADT) layer to your map as described in the above Tech Tip, you can then explore the volume of traffic for your market area.
Layers such as Street or Highway/Freeway may be visible in your map in addition to the AADT layer. To see only the Average Daily Traffic layer you can click  in the Display Manager next to each of the layers that you want to hide.
