Download our latest, free hospital map layer that includes the number of beds for every hospital in the USA, plus hospital addresses, phone numbers, and types of hospital (e.g. VA, military, children's, general).

With Maptitude you can create straight-line or drive-time catchment/market areas using Areas of Influence or Network Partitioning, respectively. For example, a hospital network could use this tool to get a quick idea of the coverage area for each of their locations. This Tech Tip shows how to create straight-line based areas of influence with Maptitude 2016.

There is a Maptitude tool to create a MapPoint multiple symbols theme. Make your point layer the working layer and choose Map-Pattern Theme. Choose the number of classes that you want. If you choose a numeric field, the Pattern Theme Wizard will automatically classify your data to minimize within-group variance. It is very easy to customize these ranges by clicking the Customize button.

On the Style tab you can click Previous and Next to go through different symbol sets or you can click the Style button to change any individual symbol.

Click OK when you are done and Maptitude redraws the map using the values you chose.
