Maptitude is the best mapping software for business intelligence! This map depicts the number of primary care physicians (PCP) per 10,000 population by US county. The greatest variability in the number of PCPs is in rural counties with populations under 10,000 people. Of those counties, 48 have more than 50 PCPs per 10,000 population and 97 have fewer than 2 PCPs per 10,000 population.
Among counties with over 100,000 population, Maui HI (26.5), Johnson IA (16.7), New York NY (16.2), and Washington DC (15.8) had the most primary care physicians, and Anchorage AK (0.7), Gregg TX (1.3), El Paso TX (1.4), and Muscogee GA (1.7) had the fewest.
