The chain with the most stores in each state/province is also shown on the map. Tim Hortons is the predominant chain in every Canadian province except for Yukon Territory. Starbucks is predominant in 34 states/provinces/territories, including the entire western half of the United States. Dunkin is predominant in 15 states, mostly in the Northeast and South coast. The only exceptions to the dominance of Tim Hortons, Dunkin, and Starbucks are in the upper Midwest of the United States where Caribou is predominant in Minnesota and North Dakota and Scooter's is predominant in Nebraska.
