FREE layers of banking mapping data* for the United States are available
for current users of Maptitude. Three files are included in this
download:
- Bank Branches: A point file with the
location of all FDIC insured bank branches. This file can be added to
a Maptitude
map in order to visualize the locations of bank branches in
an area. The layer also contains extensive data about the branch
locations, including name, address, the unique branch
identification number, total deposits, as well
as data about the larger institution to which the branch
belongs.
- Credit Union Branches: A point file with
the location of all credit union branches from the NCUA
Quarterly Report. This file can be added
to a Maptitude map in order to visualize the locations of
credit unions in an area. The layer also contains extensive data
about each branch, including name and address, the unique branch
identification number, as well as data about the larger institution to which
the branch belongs.
- Farm Credit System institutions: A point file with
the location of all farm credit system institutions from the FCA. This file can be added
to a Maptitude map in order to visualize the locations of
FCS institutions in an area. The layer also contains extensive data
about each branch, including name and address, and the unique
branch identification number.
These layers can add visual detail to your reports, or can be
used as a method to search for banking-related locations. The data
that come with each layer can lend depth to any analysis done on the
banking industry in a given area.
