Four counties are at least 60% German: McIntosh ND (64.8%), Oliver ND (64.2%), Campbell SD (62.5%) and Logan ND (60.6%). Overall, the states with the highest German population are Wisconsin (36.9%), North Dakota (36.0%), and South Dakota (34.1%).
